2018 Marshall Point LH0823 I'm really missing Maine about now! Billy and I went there this past September and covered 3/4 of the coast so I could get photos of the lighthouses on my list.  This happens to be one of them - Marshall Point Lighthouse located in Port Clyde.  Such a gorgeous place!.  The light station was established in 1832.  It also happens to be the lighthouse ramp that Tom Hanks ran on in the movie Forrest Gump.  It's funny how much movies play a part in our lives after we see them.  Many people ran up and down the ramp just because of that movie. 

By the way, that's me in the photo taking a pic of it.  I had an absolutely gorgeous day for taking photos! We are planning to go back and finish our road trip and I can hardly wait!  The northeastern most point of Maine is our next destination!
